The heart and soul of Wiggle Branch Dog Training is my Aussie wiggle butt, Lola. When I was picking out a puppy from her litter, I had my mind set on one of the other puppies. Her breeder kept saying that wasn’t the one for me. Instead, she picked out a little black tri spitfire that she said would be just the right one for me. A dog that I would be able to do anything with. Confident, smart, and intense, Lola has been all that and more.

Even with all she does, she has time to be the best heart dog I could ever imagine. I am her first and foremost job. Always there when I need her, putting the chickens to bed, licking my face when I’m stressed, and guarding me from wild animals while we are walking in the woods.
Her breeder was right, she is a dog I can do anything with. And she wiggled herself right into my heart.
Believing in one’s self comes from someone believing in you. When there is an obstacle in front of you and a great mentor and friend beside you, there is learning and growing every step of the way. Meredith Lunn saw something in me and took me under her wing. She saw something inside me that I would never have seen without her. She saw the trainer in me. Meredith has been a great mentor and wonderful friend for the past 11 years, and has been a powerful inspiration to me and many other trainers in the area. She has taught me to always be open to learn new things, always be confident in my training, push hard, and believe in myself.
Meredith is a canine behaviorist and trainer. Many trainers learn just the training side. Behavior and training are closely linked. I was luck to learn both the behavior and training sides of the equation. I will always remember what Meredith says, "In order to be a good dog trainer you need to understand behavior”. With Meredth’s guidance and friendship, I have followed my dream and opened my own business, WIGGLE BRANCH DOG TRAINING. I have had a wonderful 10 years learning and teaching dog training and behavior. Thank you, my dear friend and mentor, for being my teacher and inspiration.
Now that Meredith is retired, she will continue to educate people. We are excited to join together Meredith Lunn, CDBC Certified Behaviorist at K9TALK and, Kim Branch, CPDT-KA, Certified Professional Dog Trainer at Wiggle Branch Dog Training.
